How to Choose the Right Ritual Tools (A Simple Guide)

How to Choose the Right Ritual Tools (A Simple Guide)

If you are new to Lunam Love, or you are feeling called to shop but you are not sure where to begin, this guide will help you choose your ritual tools with confidence.

The easiest way to choose is to start with two questions:

  1. What is my intention right now?
  2. How do I like to work with my energy, daily and in ritual?

Some people want a full altar moment. Some want something quick and powerful they can use in everyday life. There is no wrong way. There is only what feels supportive for you.

Step 1: Start with your intention

Before you choose a product type, name what you are working on. Even a simple sentence is enough.

You might be calling in:

  • Cleansing and reset
  • Protection and energetic boundaries
  • Love and self devotion
  • Money, growth, and opportunity
  • Healing, peace, and emotional release
  • Road opening and forward movement
  • Confidence, power, and magnetism

Once you know your intention, choosing the right tools becomes much easier.

Step 2: Choose your ritual style

Now ask yourself how you want to experience the work:

  • Do I want something quick and easy?
  • Do I want something I can wear daily?
  • Do I want a deeper ritual with altar time and prayer?
  • Do I want something already curated for me?

Now you are ready to choose your tool (product type).

How to layer your ritual tools (without doing too much)

If you want to combine products but keep it simple, use this order:

  1. Cleanse (soap, scrub, or spray)
  2. Activate (candle or ritual oil)
  3. Anchor (salts or rice)
  4. Seal (body oil or spray)

You can do one step or all four. What matters most is consistency, not perfection.

Ritual Candles

for altar work and flame-led intention

What it is:
A ritual candle is an intention tool you burn to anchor prayer, focus, and energetic direction through flame.

Best for:

  • Intention setting and manifestation
  • Protection work and boundary support
  • Cleansing, release, and cord cutting support
  • Devotional altar practice and spiritual focus

How to use:

  • Hold the candle in your hands and name your intention out loud
  • Write an intention note and place it beneath the candle or nearby on your altar
  • Dress with ritual oil if desired and speak your prayer before lighting
  • Burn during journaling, meditation, cleansing, or altar time
  • Light it at the same time each day if you want steady momentum

If you want to layer:
Cleanse first with a spray, then light your candle. Seal the work by wearing a body oil or placing salts or rice around the candle.
