Difference between Usui/Tibetan Reiki and Holy Fire III Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - "Rei" which means Higher Power and "Ki" which is life force energy. So Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.
I see Reiki as a "spiritual detox" ridding the body of what no longer serves the client's highest good. Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping problems of the chakras, body, and mind, and creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
Reiki is not associated with any religion and complements any walk of life.

What to expect during a Reiki Session
The first 10 minutes are spent discussing what you as the client want to work on, whether it be spiritual, physical, or a combination of the two. Crystals are then chosen by myself and the client to use during the healing session. You then lay down on the massage table, and I place the crystals along the chakras and create a grid on the body using my intuition. Crystal grids generate power and complement the Reiki sessions immensely.
I protect the room and hold space for us while I begin the work. After the symbols are drawn above your body and I activate your chakras, you will feel heat and tingling as I channel the energy to your being. And don't worry if you have a busy mind and have trouble meditating. I will bring you into meditation with me and quiet your mind using energy to your crown and sending it throughout your entire body. You will feel waves of energy flowing, cleansing, and encompassing your entire aura.
I ignite, cleanse, and clear your chakras and aura sending light to anywhere that needs it.
After the session, I discuss my findings with you and what I recommend as follow-up treatment. I ground you after the session if you feel light-headed. But you will leave the session feeling refreshed and renewed.
What makes my sessions unique
I am a clairvoyant, healer, and empath so the Reiki sessions go to a deeper level. I can keep your healings light and on the surface, but I do offer and can perform deeper healings if you are ready and interested. Some of things I can go into are as follows (but not limited to these):
-Past life regressions
What to expect following a Reiki Session
Since Reiki is a spiritual detox, so to speak, in the days following your session, you will feel relaxed but may be a bit drained. As your body releases anything that no longer serves you, it is starting the healing process, and you may find yourself needing more sleep or notice a change in appetite. This is completely normal.
Depending on the depth of your session, for example, dealing with inner-child trauma or a broken heart, you may have some heavier emotions surface. You will feel so much better once they are released.
I read a perfect analogy that described deep healing perfectly. They compared a person to a cup of water. As we accumulate and experience heavy periods during our life, dirt enters the cup of clean water and settles at the bottom of the cup. We may live years with that sludge at the bottom of the cup, and it can effect our well-being, our mental and physical health. Reiki and healing work sends light into the cup to replace the dirt with purity and clean water once again. In the process, however, the dirt moves around in order to be released. That's when the heavier emotions may come up.
The biggest thing I tell clients is acknowledge and release. Pain, heartache, heavy emotions don't belong in your life. The lessons can remain, but the heaviness associated with them no longer needs to reside in you.
